Our Story

Aida Botanic was founded by Tsighe Retta, Founder & CEO of Aida LLC, with a simple belief: nature has always given us what we need to care for ourselves.

Our story is deeply rooted in Ethiopian heritage, where plants, herbs, oils, and natural ingredients have been part of everyday life and traditional self-care for generations. Growing up surrounded by these traditions, Tsighe developed a deep appreciation for the beauty of natural ingredients and the importance of caring for ourselves with what the earth provides.

With a background in nursing, Tsighe also developed a strong awareness of what we put on and around our bodies. This experience created a desire to be more mindful of harsh and unnecessary ingredients and to explore a more natural approach to everyday self-care.

What began as a personal passion grew into Aida Botanic, a family-owned brand created with love, purpose, and a connection to our roots.

Made by Us, With Intention

At Aida Botanic, our products are not simply selected and placed into a package. Each product is crafted by us.

From preparing and producing each batch, to pouring, filling, packaging, and carefully applying every label, our hands are involved throughout the process. We take pride in knowing what goes into our products and how they are made.

Every bar, butter, oil, and botanical creation is made with deep passion, care, and confidence. We believe that when you put your heart into what you create, people can feel the difference.

We carefully source unique, nature-inspired ingredients, including treasured Ethiopian herbs and botanicals, and bring them together with thoughtfully selected plant-based ingredients. Our heritage inspires our ingredients, while our commitment to craftsmanship guides how we make every product.
